In Greek mythology, Taras a son of Poseidon was saved from a shipwreck by a dolphin. This event was commemorated throughout the ancient world in medallions and coins. My dolphin image was inspired by that dolphin and continues to celebrate the existence of these sensitive and intelligent beings.
